Hybrid Transmissions

GETRAG FORD Transmissions Hybrid manual transmissions are based our best-in-class and highly efficient manual transmission portfolio.

The modular 48V and HV solutions offer benchmark CO2 benefits up to 25% (48V) and +75% (HV) at lowest cost and best system weight. The 48V Boosted Manual Transmissions (BMT) offer a ‘real’ hybrid experience to the customer with features like remote e-park assist, boosted launch, sailing / coasting with engine-off, traffic jam assist in e-mode etc. The HV Boosted Hybrid Transmissions (BHT) also offer pure e-drive of up 70 km/h without shift for city driving, automated shifting with premium shift quality, generator mode etc. and support all autonomous drive requirements. BMT and BHT transmissions share components with existing transmissions and can be manufactured with existing MT machines. This makes GETRAG FORD Transmissions MT Hybrid portfolio the most cost efficient and robust hybrid technology in the market.

Boosted Manual Transmission with integrated 48V e-motor based on 6MTT215.

1eDT348 - Electric Drive Unit

New single-speed transmission architecture for electrified vehicles in the Light Commercial Vehicle segment. Designed with compact transmission package for total GVM up to 4.25 ton. Manual park lock system integrated.
